I can't believe Shabbat is almost here again either...can't wait! Have a WONDERFUL one!
Concerning allergies, I ran across a tip somewhere in my cyber-wanderings about taking a teaspoon of raw, unfiltered honey for relief. I've been doing that the past couple of days and it seems to work, really fast, too!
Being asthmatic, I'm leary of taking antihistamines (sp?) so the honey thing appealed to my natural bent.
Would it be worth a try for you?
Happy to hear about your van!:o)
I saw your "porch light" on, so I thought I'd stop by and say hello!:o) I hope all's well with you and yours.
Pam
I wanted to thank you for the cyberhugs and prayers. I just love your wisdom and am thankful our paths have crossed. I will let you know when we sign up for Torah Club.
I also popped over to your blog and enjoyed it! You have great tips (I'd been wondering about freezing eggs!) and it was enlightening to read your "You Know When You're a Brasilian When . . ." list. I told Carol one of these days I'm going to figure out how to add pictures to my page, too. Right now, though, I'm going to rest. I have severe allergies and it's really zapping the energy out of me!
Talk to you soon!
I love your name. My daughter's name is Katie, so anything even close catches my ear!
I know exactly where Ault is! I drove through it once in a blinding snowstorm on my way to Sterling to visit my brother. I actually had to drive with my door open to make sure I wasn't driving into a ditch! I have a cousin in Windsor and my brother lived in Greeley until a couple of years ago. My roots go deep here in Northern Colorado.
We live just west of I-25 along the road that leads into Longmont.
I know what you mean about the mountains. We've had several opportunities to move and each time it's been to some place flat and we decided we just can't live without mountains. Thankfully, the Lord has allowed my husband's work to remain here. It's getting a bit crowded as more people move in so maybe we'll pick up stakes and relocate eventually, but again, gotta have those mountains!
Do you miss Brazil?
