Ta Da's!!!

I started on the Scrapbooking layout that I intended to do as part of my Kaszazz samples and it was incredibly easy! I'm sold on our Cut, Crop, Assemble Kits for sure!

This is Layout 1.

This is Layout 2

This is Layout 3

This is my favourite page.

The first thing I needed to do was cut all the papers needed for the layouts and then do Step 1 only for all 3 layouts before proceeding to Steps 2 and 3. I am content to leave it at Step 1 for the moment as I think it gives a good example of how quick and easy yet effective these kits are.
Now I've done one I can't wait to do another, lol.

I went along to our local craft morning yesterday, but sadly it wasn't the answer to my lack of party this month, so back to the drawing board for that.

To Do!

We are going away Thursday and Friday of this week so I'm not sure if I will have any time to get crafting done this week. Although I do have lots of To Do's, I may not get any of them done this week so I will use give you my continuing To Do List:
  • my next big goal is to get our photo's sorted (I am awaiting a Power Sort Box)
  • Continue to get my Kaszazz samples done ie, clock, more cards, more bookmarks, more scrap layouts.
  • Tidy and organise my craft area
  • Work on crafty bible study for my ladies fellowship.
I hope you have a great week with many Crafting Creations.

Many Blessings,
Tracy

Today's Devotional

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, Thou wilt revive me.

PSALMS 138:7

IT is very helpful to make a habit of offering, morning by morning, the troubles of the day just beginning to our dear Lord, accepting His will in all things, expecially in all little personal trials and vexations. Some persons have found great benefit from making, when first they wake, the act taught to Madame de Chantal by St. Francis de Sales, accepting "all things tolerable and intolerable" for love of Christ; then at midday, a moment's inward search to see whether there has been any voluntary slackening of submission, any deliberate opposition to God's will, any hesitation in resisting the distaste or fretfulness, the impatience or discouragement we are tempted to feel when things go contrary to our own will and likings, making a fresh resolution to go on heartily; and, at night, a quick review of the day's failures for which to ask pardon, and strength to go on better anew. Some such habit as this is a great check to that terrible hindrance of the spiritual life which, terrible though it be, is so apt to steal upon many good and earnest souls,--a complaining, grumbling, self-pitying spirit.

Ever felt like you need lessons on Homemaking?

I sure have... When I became a wife I had no clue. I had a few theories, but no clue, soon after I added being a mother to the mix and a whole new world opened up to me. I looked everywhere for mentors and read alot of books. As much as I wanted a real-life mentor, books became my only help.

Women that are naturally good homemakers, or have been raised with a good example generally couldn't relate to my difficulties and those that have walked the path before me where usually to busy maintaining what they had learnt and plus were insecure about their own success.

Then last year I found out about The Homemaker's Mentor. I couldn't wait for it to start and it has been worth the expectations I had. There are an average of 2 lessons per month, that are very well written and also the opportunity to discuss what is being studied. I don't get to the discussions as much as I would like, but the lessons alone are well worth it. If you would like more information please visit the site and I'm sure Martha would be happy to help you with any questions or queries you might have.

Ta Da!!

This week I managed to make some cards to add to my Kaszazz box, this is where I keep my samples to show people that will be having a party that this is one of the options for their "Make and Take" and also to pick a "Thank You" gift.

An order arrived last week containing a few bits that I needed to make this project. I have been looking forward to making these, so pretty.

Here's a close up of my favourite. I just can't help but over-embellish ~smile~.

Here is the other project. I did these for the "Make and Take" at my last party. So here's a few as "Thank You" options.
To Do!!

I have some scrapbooking layouts that I want to get around to this week. These are also samples so that is a definate motivating factor.
I got a couple of bits that I needed to create a new bookmark "Make and Take" so I am hoping to make a few of them this week.
I have given up working on our scrapbooking at the moment cardmaking seems to be my main interest, that and gardening, lol.
I have to organise a party for this month and I have no ideas on how to do that, as no-one has shown any interest at the moment.

I'm not doing a very good job at joining in the challenges, but will keep them in mind. The current challenge is to do something with lace, hmmm!?

Many Blessings,
Tracy

I would so love to go to this. If anyone in Chicago wants to give me a bed, I'll be on the plane, lol!
If you have the chance to go, please take it, and send me the notes.
It would be such a blessing to hear the herald cry for womanhood today. Our culture is so far from God's will and yet many woman struggle with the Enemy's blindfold over their eyes wondering which way to turn. The Revive Our Hearts ministry I believe is a lighthouse in the storm. The interview below is with Joni Earekson Tada and well worth watching.

The Journey.

My husband and I have been on a journey over our years of marriage. A journey to discover the Lord's heart for our lives, personally, as a family, as parents. It is a continual journey. Part of our journey has been discovering the Lord's heart for His people Israel and what it truly means to be grafted into His family. Really we are far from where we could be, but it has been on my heart to study and take part in the Biblical Feasts even if in a small way, and this is finally the year we… Continue

Hi Tracy! I just read your comment on the Dietary board, and I have so much to write back! I just don't have time at the moment and might not until later today because of church, but I wanted to let you know that I've got lots to write back. :) I hope you had a blessed Sunday at your services as well. (I can't remember the time difference from when I had a friend in Queensland, but I know you're far ahead of me!)
