Our Hebrew Roots

Exploring Our Biblical Hetitage

Has anyone else seen this article?

I am on another Hebrew Roots email loop and someone shared this link. It is an article discussing studies in Canada that link the spread of MRSA (methicillin resistent staph aureus) to pig farms, pigs, and the farmers who raise them. The bacteria is spreading rapidly in the US and is found in every community. Also, the US does not test livestock for MRSA.

Another reason to obey Hashem's commandment not to eat swine. His ways are perfect.

Yuck - no kidding. This is just another reason to be thankful that we are given the things that would take care of us and protect us (like this) in His word.

Yep, obedience pays off in situations like this.

The use of antibiotics in livestock though is another issue all on it's own.
