After last weekend I am happy to say that we had a much better week starting about Tuesday afternoon and reaching through the weekend and starting this week. Tuesday through Friday school went well. I've been making time each day to get into the sun to help with my vitamin D deficiency that my doctor told me about. It really picked up my spirits too. I am suspicious that the vitamin D pills that I'm supposed to take weekly gave me a major crabby reaction, so I am going to try to do it naturally… Continue

Ever since last fall, I felt the Lord showing me that His Old Testament was every bit a part of His love letter to His church as His New Testament. I felt like He wanted me to study His laws, and do my best to obey them - not as a way to seek my salvation, but as a way to honor Him. I feel obeying His laws not only shows my love to Him, but also it is a way for me to have a standard in my life. Here it is Friday almost noon. We haven't gotten much school work done. The girls didn't get their housework done yesterday that I asked them to do...They are supposed to do the bathrooms on Thursday afternoons while I am at work. I just got the roast into the crock pot.
