Don't feel stupid! To make my life easire, I purchased Robin's book "Family Guide to the Biblical Holidays." It really made all the difference! When all this is so new to a person, it can get overwhelming. Just remember that the Lord is pleased wi...

I believe that it is just fine to eat Meat and Dairy products together and I agree with your view. Personally, I avoid the term "kosher" because of all of the implications that go along with that and try to just use the term "eating Biblically." T...

Has anyone ever explored how the lunar cycle ties into how our bodies cleanse themselves according to the moon? I read in a book that when the moon is "full" and "new" (as in the conjunction when it cannot be seen) that our bodies are optimally re...

I agree Robin...I think it is really easy to fall into the trap of being so concerned about the "rules" that we forget to simply "love." That is our highest call, to love God and to love others, not just in our hearts but in deed. Always a good th...

Shalom, As this moon cycle comes to its close, we will be waiting and watching to see when our new moon cycle will begin. This will be the 12th moon cycle. From its establishment we can then count the days to determine when Purim will be held. Now...

Hi I notice your online and I wanted to stop by and say hi.
I know its hard to find like minded people to fellowship with. If you end up being the only one online here and you want to chat or visit me you can find me on our ministries website. My husband is a Rabbi and the website is an awesome place to learn deep teachings in who you are, how to make oil and keep your menorah lit, and prepare yourself as the bride-A Kingdom of Priests.. We teach the Greater Torah by the Spirit. We teach how Yeshua taught and lived...he taught the Kingdom of Elohim!! Id love to see you there. Shosh

What is dh?

It is supposed to be an 1hr but sometimes an hour and half or inbetween there, but if U were to attend U could probably stay as long as U want or able. U could probably attend 30 mins or less. Up to U.

Thanks for adding me to your friend's list. :)

They do have fellowship meetings on Monday nights 3 times a month, that meets regulary for a group called Daugthers of Tsiyon(ladies only in this group) that U can do either over the phone or thru pc thru Talkshoe or both.
Are U interested in learning more about this group? U will get to know more sisters who are listeners of Tsiyon and are trying to come out of Babylon.

Hi Trish, My name is Rebecca, How are U. I have posted on your discussion topic a few times but felt , we haven't had the chance to be introduced yet. I noticed that people aren't very active on this site. It would be nice if there was more interaction going on. I am active on the site called Tsiyon dot org. They have great programs with truths revealed in them that U don't hear anywhere else. I hope to get U know U more. Blessings to U.

Shalom Trish, great site, lovely family!! I am not very good at this web site thing. I almost never go to "my" site, so I only just saw your messages. Anyway, my email is luv2przhim@praiseyah.com. I would love a link to the book "holy times" that you mentioned. My dh and I keep all of YHVH's appointed times by His Chodesh (new moon cycles), including His 7th day Sabbath. Shalom, Jody

Hi Trish,

I live in Basin, WY which is 60 miles east of Cody. Where in Montana are you? Do you have anyplace to fellowship? We have no like minded believers around us. I am a working mom (registered nurse) of a 15 year old boy. My husband has an upholstery business in Worland, 30 miles south of our home. We are currently still attending the local Baptist church while incorporating Torah observance into our lives. My husband wavers at times but came on board four years ago when we did our first Passover. I have been studying Jewish roots of the Christian faith for approximately twelve years. Every year I would ask if my husband wanted to do Passover, he would say no, and I would say, ok! Four years ago, he finally agreed to "try" it. It had a profound effect on him as we recounted Yeshua's death and resurrection and as he broke the middle piece of matzah. My son, however, is dubious about the "Jewish" stuff and right now can't get past that. I am trying to be patient but my heart so wants him to see the depth of the meaning of so much we have taught him over the years. Of course, it doesn't help that we attend a church that is wishy-washy as to whether we need to even study Torah much less obey it, but I digress. I saw in your bio that your husband has different beliefs but doesn't hinder your worship. Is he a believer who doesn't embrace Messianic worship or a non-believer? It is wonderful that he isn't adverse to your following Torah. I also saw in one our messages that you have an e-book about Holy Time that you can share. I would love to have it. It is very hard to change to a different way of keeping time when you have to have all time off requests in six weeks ahead of time. It doesn't leave much room for waiting to the new moon. (sigh). I do know that YHVH is soverieign no matter what and he has led me on this path. When it is time to make those changes, he will make a way. I am glad to find someone even remotely nearby. We visited a messianic congregation in Thornton, CO this summer that was a blessing. I have really enjoyed the teaching of their cantor, Ariel Ben-Lyman. His Shomer Mitzvot series can be downloaded as mp3 audio. Anyway, here is the website: http://www.graftedin.com/index.html. Anyway, my email addy is bmjw@tctwest.net. Feel free to email me privately. It would be great to meet you and your family.

Shalom,

Mary in WY

It worked out okay. It ended up that my daughters didn't remember it was the weekend of the lock-in last weekend, and they ended up going to a ballet on Saturday night, so they didn't really miss it. It is funny though, my oldest daughter was explaining to one of the moms that we didn't go because it fell on the Sabbath. She came and asked if we were seventh day adventists! Funny thing is, she knows I go to her church! It also worked out in that my second daughter is having a lot of health issues, and it wouldn't have been wise to take her anyway.

About Me:
I'm a WAHM of a 6 and 3 year old...the joys of my life. I've been happily married for 11 years and husband is a Deputy Sheriff. I've been a believer my entire life but always had questions and those questions led me to the Messianic faith. I've been studying Hebrew roots for a few years now and love it. My husband believes differently, so that makes it a bit complicated, but he's fine with my practicing whatever I feel convicted about. This journey has been such a blessing to my children and me!
