About Me:
I have been blessed to be married to my best friend for over 25 years. We have 8 children, and i am also recently also blessed to be a grandmother of a beautiful girl.
I teach smocking and embroidery, but love most aspects of sewing and quilting etc also.
I also make soap, cheese, and other homemade products.
We have been homeschooling for four years now, and wonder why it took me so long to make the decision to do so. We love it.
Now that I have bored you all, that's about it.

Hi I notice your online and I wanted to stop by and say hi.
I know its hard to find like minded people to fellowship with. If you end up being the only one online here and you want to chat or visit me you can find me on our ministries website. My husband is a Rabbi and the website is an awesome place to learn deep teachings in who you are, how to make oil and keep your menorah lit, and prepare yourself as the bride-A Kingdom of Priests.. We teach the Greater Torah by the Spirit. We teach how Yeshua taught and lived...he taught the Kingdom of Elohim!! Id love to see you there. Shosh

Hi Trace,:o)

Sorry I didn't reply sooner. I guess my brain was in Sabbath mode after reading your post on my nook last night. LOL!

NO...I didn't say I like you and Lori b/c you both spoil me...I SAID, that is what makes you alike. LOL! There are many reasons why I love you both...in addition to the whole spoiling me thing. LOL!

Btw, I just LOVE that you two are finally talking and seeing all the similarities. Is this when I say, "I told you so"?;)

Hope you had a good Sabbath and are sleeping soundly now.:o)

Love & Hugs to all...

I also don't have very much time for sewing, but hope to find more time now that daughter #1 has gotten her license and can drive herself back and forth to work. That will free up about 8 hours in my week.

I have taught myself to play guitar in the last few years. I am okay, not great, but hopefully I'll keep getting better. We have quite a unique music team at church. There are 2 to 3 of us that are of parent age and the others are 20, 15, 15, 15, and 14 with our lovely fill-in pianist, Chloe, who is 12. I love it, they are great kids. My real passion is singing, but I had to learn guitar when I found out my guitarist was moving to Missouri and I had no one to take his place. Necessity!

I'll have to look up the cbe info for you and post it later.

Ha...WELL...SOMEone's been talking about ME I see.;)

The thing that makes you two the MOST alike, is the fact that you both spoil me, royally!:o)!!!

K....the royal brat is busy doing laundry after camping, so I better sign out of here for now. I love you BOTH to pieces!:o)

LOL, that is what happens when you type too fast. I hope you all do get to come over really soon, so we can finally meet the famous Absolons :-) I haven't made challah in quite a while. I only tried the 3-braid, the 6 looks very tricky. I am on a real foods e-mail list headed by a Messianic Jewish lady and she has a tutorial on her web page with the 6-braid, maybe I'll give it a whirl soon. Right now I am not doing much sewing, we recently moved and are still not unpacked completely and this is a busy time with homeschool conventions and used book sales (I'm on the board of our local HS association, so that means lots of work). I usually like to sew clothing, but have started to learn quilting with paper piecing and would like to do more of that. Gotta run take daughter #1 to work,

Well, I sew and back my own bread, so I think that is what makes us similar :-) Oh, and having more than the average number of children. I have also been a doula, just haven't had as much time for it since my last one was born, life got too busy. I "know" a birth professional over in Australia, she is on a Christian chilbirth professional's e-mail list that I am on. Well, gotta run, tonight is a work night for me, so I have to go listen to some doctors now. TTYL,
