About Me:: I am a stay at home, homeschooling, homesteading wife and mom of 2 children. We have a small farm, in which we raise poultry and goats for our needs, and rabbits for pet food and handspinning fibers, as well as 'black gold' for the garden, lol.

I have always loved the Jewish people, and their ways, though never quite knew why. I was raised by secular parents (raised Catholic), but had a Christian baby sitter that was a huge influence on me. I attended some church as a child because of her, but nothing regular. As an adult, I explored many sects of Christianity, looking for answers to the questions I had about popular teachings. I didn't find what I was looking for until 4.5 years ago when Hashem led me to a dear friend who was Jewish, and who helped me find my Hebrew Roots.

My children are on the same path as I, but my husband has been badly burned by Christianity and religion in general, so is resistant, but supportive of my choices and what I teach the children.

So very tired, and worn down.....

It's been one of those weeks. You know, the ones where NOTHING goes right, if it can go wrong it will. I mean, yesterday I was a danger to myself. NO, not in that way, but if I could fall down, I would. If I could trip, or slam into something painful, I did. Sigh.....
