Candy,
Yep, it can be hard when loved ones don't understand. My mom complained a while back when talking about our eating habits that I was becoming more Jewish than most Jews. I quickly popped back with "Jesus was a Jew! Worked for Him, works for me!!!" Of course, she was pretty speechless....then commented "Well, ya got me there." You just keep listening to YHWH and following what He tells you to do, Sweetie, and the rest will work out in the end. My parents don't get it, think we're a little off the wall, but only complain occasionally about it. I take care of my parents, so this makes life a little tricky some days....but as long as I continue to shine Yah's light and love to those around me, I'm finding the attitudes diminish. I pray this will help you...knowing it won't last forever. In the meantime, you're welcome to 'blow off steam' if you need to...I'm good at listening...or reading. LOL! Been there, done that, didn't even get a sticking T shirt for it. But get to dance with my Abba daily. Such a deal!!!! ;-) Shalom. Spitfire
Welcome Candy. I hope you find all you're looking for on this site. There's tons of info for you to peruse, and tons of folks that can answer any questions you might have. I see you've just started this journey. I hope your journey is fruitful. I've found the journey to be exciting! But not everyone wants excitement....your best place to learn more about Yeshua is Torah. (Torah is the first 5 books of the Bible.) If you're open to the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit), you'll find Yeshua all over the Torah. It's a great journey and I bid you shalom as you study, journey and learn. Shalom. Spitfire
