I am the mother of 6 beautiful children, so far. Madison is 10, Matthew is 8, Mychaela is 5, Maleigha is 4, Makenzie is 2, and Micah is 9 months. My sister in law, Jessica lives with us, as well. She is 18 and a Senior in high school. She has been accepted to Sam Houston University in TX. I am a homeschooling mom, and love every minute of it! I am also married to a wonderful man, Justin. He is my earthly hero!! My hubby is in the US Navy and has been for 11 years. We are stationed in upstate NY right now and have been here for 4 years. We have orders to Groton CT starting in October. I love to write and hopefully will have a published book in the near future. I am interested in writing childrens books.
I love crafts and cooking. I love camping and being outdoors.
Although I have been seeking God, the true God of the bible and not the "church God," for about two and a half years, I feel like a baby in this and have much to learn. I look forward to gaining wisdom from this website and meeting new friends as well!

I am a virtuous woman! Strength and honor are my clothing; I shall rejoice always. I open my mouth with wisdom, and on my tongue is the law of kindness. I watch over the ways of my household, and do not eat the bread of idleness. My children rise up and call me blessed; my husband also, and he praises me saying, "Many women have done well, but you excel them all." I fear YHWH, humble myself and seek His face. I will be submissive to my husband and my adornment is not just an outward appearance but will be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit. My behavior is pure and godly, an example of righteousness to my children and husband, like the clarion call setting our house in order. My husband is my covering appointed by YHWH to lead our home and I will trust the Lord to guide him into all righteousness and godly wisdom through Yeshua.

I just recieved a letter in the mail from my sister in law's high school. It is titled, "Your brooding teen: Just moody or mentally ill?
I am a bit taken back. Are we now classifying teenage "crisis" as mental illness? Are we making excuses for behavior? I believe mental illness's are serious so please do not be offended, but is it an outbreak with our teens? Or is it what we are labeling our kids with? Maybe the behavior is not mental illness but a replacement for God. Is it filling the space… Continue
